List of events happening at the Library.
Library board meetings are open to the public. They are held the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm, September-May. The only exception is the November and December meetings are combined and will be held Thurs., Dec. 4th at 7pm this year.
The library will be hosting the Michigan Storm Chasers on Monday, Oct. 6th, 2025 at 6pm. All are welcome!
On the second Tuesday of each month at 2pm, the library's book club meets to discuss a book. Members take turns selecting and leading the discussion of the book they have chosen. The selected books are provided by the library for the members to read ahead of the next meeting. If you are interested in joining the discussion, stop in at the library to pick up the next month's book.
Registration is required, Please sign up at the front desk or email youth@freeportdistrictlibrary.org. It helps us know how many crafts to prepare and how to plan. Storytime is for ages 0-5 years and Kids Create is for 6 years and up.
