List of events happening at the Library.
The book club meets at 2pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. A member selects a book each month to be read and discussed. The library orders in the books to be read a month ahead. If you'd like to participate, stop by the library to pick up next month's book.

Most board meetings are the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm at the library. The only exception is the November/December meetings are combined.
On Wednesday mornings at 10 am, October 14-November18, children will learn about the things that make us go with stories, songs and activities. Children 5 and under are invited to participate. Please sign up by emailing youth@freeportdistrictlibrary.org, calling the library @ 616-765-5181, or stopping into the library. We want to have enough crafts for everyone!
Starting Thursdays at 2pm, October 15- November 19, kids 6 and up will participate in team activities, learning and crafts. Sign up by emailing youth@freeportdistrictlibrary.org, calling 616-765-5181 or dropping in at the library. It is important that you sign up so we have enough supplies on hand for each kid participating.

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2pm, the library's book club gathers to discuss the book chosen for that month. We invite anyone to participate, it is a very welcoming group. Members take turns choosing a book and leading the discussion on a volunteer basis. The library provides the books.
