Fall 2020 Outdoor Family Storytime

New this Fall, Preschool families are invited to join Miss Lily for Outdoor Storytime. Bring a blanket for your family to help maintain social distancing. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will cancel. Families are welcome inside the library to checkout books and movies, but we are limited to less than 10 people at a time, so no gatherings at this time. Parents will have to answer a Covid19 survey and wear a face covering to enter the library.

2020 Summer Reading Prize Drawings

For Adults, Teens and Kids 5 and up who completed their Summer Reading Program, their names were entered into a prize drawing. We WILL draw the names and contact the winners by phone or email!

July 3rd Library Closure

The library will be closed Friday, July 3rd. We will reopen for Curbside Pickup, Monday July 6th.

Summer Book Club Outdoors

The Freeport District Library's Book Club Members will meet at the house of a member to discuss books that members have recently read. Everyone should bring their own water, the hostess will make sure everyone sits 6 feet apart in the backyard. If you would like to attend, contact the library to find out the location. Everyone is welcome!

Freeport District Library Zoom Board Meeting

Due to Covid19 closure, we will hold the board meeting via Zoom. Email director, Tammy Borden, @ fretlb@llcoop.org for the meeting ID and password. The Public is Welcome!

Second Tuesdays Book Club

The Second Tuesdays Book Club meets at the Freeport District Library once a month at 2:00 PM.

Homecoming Bike Parade

Meet at the Freeport Mill on 225 Division St. to line up for the bike parade. We will be at the beginning of the parade line up. Once we get to the end of Division, we will park our bikes and watch the rest of the parade.
