The Freeport Library board meets once a month, on the 4th Thursday at 7pm, ( Sept-Oct. and Jan.-May). The only exception is we combine November and December's meeting and meet on the 1st Thursday of December. The public is welcome to attend.

The library's Friends group holds used book sales as well as volunteers at library events. We meet at least two times a year to review past events and find out what is coming up. We also help the library with special purchases. We would love to have new friends!

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September - May, the book club meets at 3pm. Members choose the books to be read each month, and the library provides copies of the selected books to anyone who would like to participate. If you are interested in joining the book club, contact the library!
